Wood Giant
Wood Giants are one of the many sub-species of Giant.
Wood giants stand between twelve and fourteen feat tall, fairly average for giantkin. Wood giants are one of the few giant types that enjoy living among other types of mortals. They are known for their partnerships and communities with any society that embraces nature and a more natural way of living.
Wood giants are guardians of nature, many having a deep connection with the land around them. Wood Giants are a very spiritual people and so finding priests of Eysus, The Sole Gardener and other nature deities is very common.
Wood Giants mostly spend their time around forests and trees, anywhere nature can be found, since they are a more peaceful society they have developed the ability to camouflage themselves into the woods around them in order to better protect their sanctuaries from predators and other that wish them harm.
In the modern age wood giants are dying out, their forests and homes often being destroyed for lumber and land. This has led to some wood giants becoming more hostile and aggressive, fighting off those who have come to destroy their natural sanctuaries.
