Unis Wastes

The Unis Wastes, colloquially known as The Shallows, is the former site of the nation of Unis, destroyed by the lich king long before the Schism. Now the Wastes are home to small villages, desperate to live life free from the shadow of the Lich King or the Hags, but find themselves victims of the wastes inhabitants. Massive ghoul cities make up much of the landscape as well as many a castle and fort inhabited by vampires, built around the small villages, where the inhabitants are kept as cattle.
