Risel of Thoron

Risel was born on the island nation of Thoron and enjoyed all the island had to offer. Becoming a trader in his younger years as many do from the island nations Risel enjoyed the ocean but always felt he had more to offer. Upon landing in The Dawn Capital during his travels, Risel changed his path in life and became a cleric in The Faith of the Dawn. However the strict doctrine of religious life did not suit him and he soon took off into the world as an adventurer.

Risel continued to uphold the tenants of Correl, The Glowing Queen, his goddess and soon became renowned throughout the world as a liberator and holy light smiting evil.

It was in a dark moment of defeat, when Risel thought all was lost against slavers in Reslan, he heard the voice of the Glowing Queen, speaking to him and encouraging him to push through, with the strength of a thousand suns Risel smote the slavers and freed their prisoners, becoming the Champion of Correl.

Since then Risel has joined his other champions in the The Icosahedral Order and continues to spread light and freedom throughout Orchellia.
