Half-Giant

Half-Giant is the catch all term for any mortal with a significant or noticeable percentage of Giant blood within them.

This usually presents in humans more than others for similar reasons to why Half-Elves and Half-Orcs are predominately human mixes. However, any race can be the 'template' giant is passed onto.

There are many half-giant communities throughout the world that may have nothing to do with actual Giants beyond their distant ancestry, simply living as their ancestors did in more rural, often mountainous locations. Half-giants can often also be found amongst Giant strongholds, and depending on what type of giant will depend on how they are recieved. Half-giants are rarer in urban areas, simply due to the lack of giants, but this does not stop many from intergrating themselves among all other peoples.
