Ekar Woods

The Ekar Woods are a large forest ruled by a coven of ancient hags, allegedly having made a pact with the Lich King for territory many a century ago, this part of the continent is their domain. Denizens of the many woodland villages make offerings to the sisters, often in the form of food, resources, and sometimes children. A rough place to live, filled with danger of therianthropes, alongside natural and magically enhanced beasts. Portals to the fey realm are common in the land due to the hags influence, and many a citizen has wondered if trying their luck with either Court would be more advantageous than life under the hags.
