Dragonkin

Dragonkin are Kobolds that have been blessed by a Dragon in order to elevate them above their kin. Standing between 7 and 8ft tall, Dragonkin tower above their Kobold cousins and are often much more powerful in both physical and magical might.

Dragonkin are often reclusive, leading Kobold dragon cults or hiding in larger sections of Kobold warrens.

Dragonkin can be multigenerational, the child of a dragonkin will also be a dragonkin themselves, regardless of the parent species. This is what has allowed mass gatherings of dragonkin and dragonkin nations such as Itrix.

Second or further generational dragonkin are proud folk. Their lineages and the dragons that blessed them an incredibly important part of their culture. Dragonkin in collected societies will often take the name of the dragon that blessed them as a surname, in order to boast their lineages. This means dragonkin families can be hard to track, as any new being elevated by a dragon will be seen as a cousin by those who have the same progenitor.
