Delbert Wexley

Delbert Wexley was born in a small village in western Phosana.
From a young age Wexley knew he was smarter than those around him, able to excel at his incredibly rudimentary village education. He found his life incredibly boring, and so at only ten years old ran away from home and travelled to Kaviri to try and find a use for his intellect. Eventually he found work in a factory, and worked his way up by showcasing his designs and inventions eventually earning enough to start his own company,
Wexley Industries however struggled to break even, the reclusive Delbert unable to successfully sell his many ingenious inventions. He was eventually approached by a rich elven man named T'Zellyn Hightower, who approached him with an interest to buy and fund his company. The two worked together for some years before Hightower ousted Wexley from his own company, renaming it "Hightower Industries".
Wexley was thrown to the streets, destitute and the new Lord of Industry taking over his company and claiming his inventions as his own. Wexley eventually found his way to The Phosanan Resistance, the group eager at first to grill Hightower's former business partner, but after he told his story, the group was eager to enlist him to their group so he could use his intellect to equip them with the finest arms and armaments.
