Beren Windminer

Beren Windminer is a Dwarf woman in her mid hundreds and part of Brasmana's Great Ring. She sits on the Dawn Seat of Loss.

Beren Windminer came from a relatively poor upbringing, her parents being simple farmers on the outskirts of Brasmana. Beren soon knew she wanted more from life, and began pursuing a career in the arts, focusing on poetry and painting. She would succeed in this life, doing well for herself and rising to some renown, eventually sitting on the Seat of Art.

Beren would serve on the Great Ring for many years, helping the city prosper in the arts, she would eventually meet Bernie Honeyblossom and Kasdoor Broadbuckle and be pulled into their resistance efforts against the High Council of Phosana, acting as a liaison and helping send some funding their way. After their small efforts failed and Broadbuckle was arrested, Beren spent the next few years under supervision due to her alleged involvement.

Beren decided that her role as an artist would not be sufficient enough to help future rebellions, and so she positioned herself to take the Seat of Loss after its former inhabitant died. In this role she helped ensure that Brasmana's armies were strong enough to eventually rise against the fascist regime ruling the rest of Phosana.

Beren would be arrested by Malice on charges of treason and be sent to Peregot Prison along with The Abnormals. She would escape the prison alongside them and work with them to overthrow the government of Phosana, and get their revenge on Malice and Ramonda Ridel.
