Banshee

Banshee are among the most tragic of the Undead.

Banshee's are born from a being that died with great sorrow, rage, or grief. When the spirit becomes a Banshee, it develops a grand hatred for all living, often not moving from near where it died, guarding its home with great zest and fearful rage.

Banshee's are among the most dangerous creatures on The Material Plane, able to inflict great horror and terror among their victims with a single burning touch, or with their trademark wail.

It is claimed by some that banshees can only be female, but this is a common misconception. Any creature that dies with enough rage or sorrow can find themselves victim of this terrible curse.
