Cherrybell
Today I saw them again, the Cherrybells. They gathered on my windowsill, how I would love to be free like they are. But the only thing to sooth me is their melodious, bell like, cry in the shimmer of the setting sun.

Basic Information
Anatomy
Cherrybells are small, quadrupedal dragons.
Their name derives from the red orb which sits in front of their throat, the so called "Cherry".
They produce a high, melodious sound by inflating said orb.
Typically, the cherry of the male is larger than that of a female. This is why females are
usually quieter and tend to have a higher pitch to their voice.
Cherrybells form groups, called an Orchestra.
Ecology and Habitats
Cherrybells natural habitat are cities and the area surrounding them. Wanderers often use their appearance as indication that a city is near.
Dietary Needs and Habits
The diet of the Cherrybell includes smaller insects and the berries from [AddArticle]. If kept
as a pet, they eat a special food made of insects, said berries and Saxum, which gives
their skin a smooth and healthy shine.
Additional Information
Domestication
Due to their shy nature, they tend to avoid direct contact with humanoids at first and will fly
away once someone comes to close. A slow approach with some berries will help to entice
them nearer. While still suspicious, a cherrybell will slowly open up to a human. They take
time to lose their fear of humanoids, but once you gain their trust they see you as part of
their orchestra and will happily sing with and for you.
Because Cherrybells are very social and tend to stick to only their Orchestra it is advised to keep at least two Cherrybells at ones.
Especially when breeding is desired, it helps to have already tamed Cherrybells around.
For the normal owner, Cherrybells don't serve a utility purpose as a pet, except to look and
sound good. A knowledgeable owner (Or Breeder) on the other hand can train their
Cherrybell to deliver letters over small distances by continuously walking the way and giving
the Cherrybell treats for when it flies in the desired direction. While it's not the most reliable
way to send letters but it's a cheap way.
