General Information
The Balance Leader is one of the, if not the, highest regarded profession in Orcerta.
Individuals with this title are tasks with holding peace between all races, of course holding peace between the capitals themselves while also keeping the whole continent in mind in every decision they make.
Mediator and Fascilitator
While this profession is widely regarded as the most important one and as such has the most power over events happening in Orcerta, a Balance Leader should be a mediator and fascilitator first.
They should listen to the Inner and Outer Balance Councils as well as the people living in Orcerta themselves.
Their most important role is to create an environment between parties of powers where every idea is hear and discussed without being played down or thrown away instantly.
Interpersonal problems between members of the councils are usually solved by the Balance Leader, which is in turn jokingly called "Politicians Psychologist" by some in these cases.
But also conflicts between whole factions, be it Anima against Vitra, Anima or Vitra against Humans or, most common, Humans against Humans are usually mediated by the Balance leader.
Continental Problem Solver
The Leader of Balance is of course also tasked with finding and solving problems on a continental scale. Be it problems with infrastructure, communication or even natural disasters.
Here his vast net of connections comes into play too, one person alone could never solve such a diverse cast of problems.
The Balance Leader has the power to gather professionals of every area, from every city, at any time he needs them. This not only includes Council members, but also normal citizens he thinks are needed to find a solution.
Additional to all of this, innovative thinking is a must in this profession, there is no use in just thinking about current problems, you also have to see and solve potential future ones.
The tipping point
Lastly and maybe most importantly, at meetings of the Outer Balance, where majority votes between 10 members are held, he is the 11 vote that decides the end result if there is a stalemate.
