Wayne built a fort on the site of the city of Waynesburg.
The confluence of the Northflood and Greatflood had long been the site of a small trading post and various fortifications. In the 910s, Wayne, second son of Byron, built a fort on this location, which came to be called Waynesburg in his honor.
