Frederick III murdered, and George Blighton took the throne of Regelsburg.
In the fall of 1593, George Blighton organized the murder of Frederick of Regelsburg, attempting to blame this on the Red Pretender who was Frederick's guest. Frederick was murdered, but the pretender and his allies were able to not only thwart their attackers, but rescued the duke's osn and daughter and fled the city.
