These are numerous, as most trades have them - these are some of the most significant: Riverman’s Guild - less corrupt than the teamsters or Stevedores, or rather, not run by the Family. Harder to maintain control, after all, since many of the members go up and down the river. They are wealthy and powerful and able to hold their own. Stevedores Guild: this union is exceedingly powerful and militant and only slightly less corrupt than the teamsters Teamsters: very powerful, basically an arm of the Family. Hoteliers Guild Market guilds: each market has an association that hires guards, keeps the thieves out and so on: River Market, St. Vincent’s marker; the centra bazaar, etc.
