Saltmarsh Campaign Journal

The party was hired in Saltmarsh by Joffrey Halfbottom, a halfling. He hired them to find his boat, the Blue Horizon, which he'd leased to some men, who had disappear. He has heard rumors that they have lost his ship - he is worried.
The party sailed to Sendel's Bar, a village in the marshlands of the south, where they landed and asked around. They got reports of the Blu4e Horizon and its crew - they were not popular here. The party managed to scare up a couple locals to help, and went out the next day, to the mouth fo the Bully River, where the Blue Horizon was last seen. There, they struck off up river in a longboat, and did indeed find the Blue Horizon, grounded on a bar. They went to retrieve it, through the mud flats, and were attacked by Bullywugs - but they triumphed and took over the boat. They went to work to fix it and refloat it.
While they were there, they saw movement on one of the islands in the estuary - Heron Rock. They went over to explore - and were attacked by bugbears and goblins. After that, they stayed with the boat, until the tide came in and they were able to get the boat off the bar. They then, eventually sailed down the river and out, to the boat that brought them. On the way, however, they aw movement ashore and wondered if it could be the missing crew.
