Oynk

A wild and gigantic pig-like creature found native to Plokahn. Asuan tend to have them domesticated for livestock, and occasionally have sent them as trade. Its among their favorite (and sometimes few) meats eaten.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Tend to grow to a very large size for quadrupeds, with short fur and swine-like head features and a long burly body. Akin to the asuan, they lack true tusks. Males have wind-bites like the asuan, while females have protruding bone-like pieces out of their chin that actually assists with them scraping out the ground and making a burrowing nest.

Genetics and Reproduction

Females have massive litters of very small oynklets (sometimes called piglets by aliens). Often the count per litter is between 25-38 football sized babies. They quickly grow, but are prone to predators and hunters with very sparse and lazy parental protection.
