Ta'Vectus

The capital city of the dark elves of Vectus is Ta'Vectus (City of Vectus). It is located on an island in a major branching area of the Sa'Reptis (River of Snakes). The city itself is a monolithic creation of interlocking canals and damn locks that allow access to river boats to any level of the city.
Inside Ta'Vectus everything is legal, nothing is illegal and the amount of illicit trade makes the city a favorable location to find rare and exotic goods. All races are welcome inside the city - even high elves by order of the trade confederation that runs the city. However, it is a fool who thinks themselves truly safe within these walls.
