Military: Battle
With the Devouring Scourge mostly acting in the background during the Radiation, she now decides to make her move to claim Oracion itself.
As the war raged on, Yil'Khazzht the Devouring Scourge, true to her namesake, continues consuming entire realms and the Typhons that sired them all in an effort to grow bigger and more satiated. However, her lust for power would not be satisfied until she could claim the world she was driven away from. After growing to a titanic size from all of her feasting, she descended upon Oracion like a meteor and crashed into modern day Savorn in the plains of Sahasradan. From there, she would spread her fungal body across the land, absorbing everything in her path. The Typhons fought tooth and nail against her bloated hordes, but she proved too much as she became all the more powerful the more she consumed. This siege even caught the attention of the Enclave itself who were not necessarily keen on the world they wished to rule being eaten by one of their own. In an unlikely alliance, the Malefic Empress and the Landkeeper actually came to an agreement on how to cut off this problem at the root. With a heavy heart, Elesia split the land mass into pieces to stop the spread of the Scourge. Vanyatura then unleashed a torrent of hellfire upon the land of Savorn, halting Yil'Khazzht from growing any larger. This counterattack gave everyone the opening they needed to beat back the engorging predator and send her back into far off space where she could do less damage. This grueling conflict not only began the fracturing of trust in the Enclave, but it also led to the shape of the continents in modern day Oracion. Savorn never truly recovered from the Scorching, and its effects are still felt today in the form of a brutally warm climate almost year-round.
