A new development in the war begins the creation of proxy soldiers, mindless monsters made to fight and die for their masters. This would also mark the largest usage of this strategem.

With the Hordemaster gaining credence to his modern day title, he would continue making horrific abominations following the defeat of his Milennium Polyp. Noticing this curious new tactic, Delios believed there to be a great usefulness in it and began siring his own demonic spawn within his growing dark realm, which paralleled the world of Oracion. As he dreamed up his unthinkable armies, he and Ba'Thaal would wait for an approaching celestial alignment, which gave them the perfect opportunity to rip a gateway open through the Weave, thereby directly unleashing their demonspawn upon the world from afar. The Crimson Chariot fought valiantly to oppose this mighty force of darkness, but they were in dire straights for the longest time, unable to keep up with the ever-encroaching evil. Finally, Elesia managed to patch the hole in the Weave with her magics, keeping the foreign realms from polluting Oracion further. However, the land around this site would be forever changed by the corruption, becoming what people refer to today as the Umber Wastes.
