Renzana the Master of Forms
Renzana was designed as a monument to Alaeum’s immense creativity, and this trait was exemplified in the fact that Renzana was born without a face. When they questioned Alaeum about this, the Tai’Lek simply replied that Renzana is his own canvas, thus sparking Renzana’s ambition. Renzana crafted their own tool, a complex, arcane, brass scepter topped off with a pyramid-shaped jewel. With their scepter, the Hand of Genesis, Renzana wielded powerful ancient spells of their design in order to change the tide of battle in their favor. After achieving their divine status, Renzana gained the ability to bring change to anything, even their own body. Renzana took Alaeum’s advice and continued to bring change to the world in the absence of the Tai’Leks. Therefore, their followers turn to them during times of political shifts, diplomatic meetings, or other such changes. Additionally, they have also been known to provide inspiration to other creators because they view them as kindred spirits. Overall, Renzana’s unique qualities granted them the title of patron deity of magic, luck, change, and creativity. Their symbol is a star-shaped pendant with a butterfly in the center.
Depictions
Physical representation is a difficult and unique situation when it comes to the Master of Forms considering they ironically do not have a true form. They are unbound by the concept of form and thus, have complete control over the concept. The Master of Forms is capable of changing their own form to reflect whatever they imagine be it male, female, anything in between, or even bestial. As such, iconography is a bit ambiguous for this particular deity, but nevertheless, they do have a more common form that most people use to depict them. This form largely resembles a porcelain doll with six, long arms, three faces showing various emotions, and a set of ornate, arcane, bejeweled armor. However, many artists have also been known to depict the Master of Forms in a more abstract method, showing their affinity for creation itself. The Day of Rebirthing
The holy day of the Master of Forms is known as the Day of Rebirthing, and it takes place on the first day of the New Dawn Moon, marking the start of the new year. It is a solemn day of remembering times of old and celebrating times yet to come. In order to celebrate the Day of Rebirthing, people gather all of their regrets, their sorrows, and their frustrations from the previous year. They write all of these negativities on scraps of parchment, join together as a community, and cast their negatives away in a grand bonfire. This act is done in order to both physically and figuratively as a way of leaving behind the people they were before. Following the creation of the bonfire, the community joins hands around the pyre and offer a prayer to the Master of Forms, focusing on all of their hopes and dreams for the coming year. Upon completing this ceremony, the people depart to act upon the goals they have set upon this holiday. In this sense, they are reborn and offer this new chance at life for themselves to the Master of Forms, just as they are able to change their form in any way they desire.Commandments of the Master of Forms
