Ventsweep

A ventsweep is a worker charged with cleaning and protecting the ventilation shafts of underground cities like Dancamort and Straoskern. They are similar to chimney-sweeps in aboveground cities, though somewhat better-paid because of the risk from monsters who live in the shafts. Ventsweeps in Dancamort, in particular, must have basic combat training, as the ventilation shafts tend to accrue piercers and rust monsters.
