Fairy Mare
A fairy mare is a Fey beast similar to a horse that can be found throughout the Feywild. They are known for being spirited and temperamental; however, if raised for long enough by a patient and intelligent rider, they adapt perfectly to that rider's needs and are eternally loyal to them.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Fairy mares appear similar to the Material Plane's horses, having four legs that end in hooves, a main, a long snout, and a tail. Their most distinctive feature is their ability to reach any size. A fairy mare raised by a Sprite will only ever reach about a foot in length, whereas a fairy mare raised by a Dullahan for the Wild Hunt can reach up to six feet in height at the shoulder.
