These rules are intended to govern the shared lorebase of OGRE; they do not dictate what happens at your table, just know that content that is inappropriate under these guidelines will not be accepted into the shared setting.
Our editors are our final judges for what is and isn't considered acceptable content, and borderline cases will be discussed amongst active editors.
should be marked 18+ in worldanvil, and have appropriate content warnings in the "Subheading" section of an article.
If you disagree with a content decision, it can be appealed once, for discussion amongst active GMs, Editors, and the community, but understand that the GMs and Editors have the final say. Remember, content canon on the wiki and content canon to your campaign can diverge.

Guiding Principles
- What you do in your campaign is your business: What you upload to WorldAnvil is the editors' business
- Be respectful of others' creations: do not try to cannonize lore that is excessively destructive to the environment, radically changes environment themes, or excessively rewrites existing canon.
- Be an excellent human. Represent yourself, and our community well. Do not upload content that is offensive or hurtful to others. It's okay to use your lore to discuss controvertial issues, but such issues must be handled with care, and grant all people their dignity.
These rules are intended to govern the shared lorebase of OGRE; they do not dictate what happens at your table, just know that content that is inappropriate under these guidelines will not be accepted into the shared setting.

Handling disagreements
OGRE is a community driven project. While final say on the lore on WorldAnvil remains a discussion between the various GMs/ Editors. We commit to handling disagreements publicly, transparently, and fairly. We agree to consider content based off it's individual merits, but retain the right to blacklist individuals who repeatedly or flagrantly attempt to submit lore which breaks these guidelines. All content rejections will be provided with a fair reason, and we make an effort to accept as much content written as possible. If you disagree with a content decision, it can be appealed once, for discussion amongst active GMs, Editors, and the community, but understand that the GMs and Editors have the final say. Remember, content canon on the wiki and content canon to your campaign can diverge.
