Torchwood

The Torchwood is a small ironwood forest in Rubicos. Growing on the slopes of an active volcano, the Torchwood endures an eruption every few centuries. As lava courses down the mountainside, only the ironwood trees – immune to fire – survive, burning like torches in the wind. After a spell, the ash sows the soil and the forest regrows all the greener.
A small wood elven community that resides within the Torchwood, fleeing every century or so when the volcano prepares to erupt.
