Greenguard Mountains

The Greenguard Mountains are a mountain range in northeastern Emeros. A natural barrier that protects the Wombwood from the Draconic Ocean, the mountains also derive their name from their rich deposits of jade, occasionally lending the peaks an emerald sheen.
Jade found in these mountains is unlike any found elsewhere in the world and rumored to have certain magical properties. Any expedition sent to mine that jade, however, has always met with disaster, on account of the jade giants that allegedly protect the mountains from unwanted incursions.
