First Fissure

The First Fissure is a chasm that dominates central Yogoth  and is, as the name implies, believed to where Yog was first unleashed upon the world in 899 3A. Though the seal was only one hundred feet across, the Fissure now spans miles and miles of countryside and grows increasingly larger by the day.
The Spires of Yog – twisted formations of stone that resembles towers – fringe the First Fissure like rows of teeth.

• The Instrument: When the villains assembled in Year 896 4A, they leapt atop the summit of the Spire of Yog and into the First Fissure.
• The Heroes: When departing the Spires of Yog in search of captured Vessel in 898 4A, the villains – one by one – leapt into the First Fissure.
