Celestial
Celestials are divine beings, composed of pure faith. The products of sacred rituals, a celestial is not summoned so much are created and fulfill very specific functions. While created of divine will, a celestial is a free-thinking entity and has no deeper connection to a deity than a mortal.
Types of Celestial
- Aasimar: A human shaped by divine radiance, aasimars are not truly celestials but are instead mortals that radiate a celestial aura. They may be the offspring of a mortal and a celestial or they may have undergone a ritual to grant them heavenly powers. Unlike tieflings, they have no clear angelic features but they all have an unmistakeable aura about them that betrays their sacred heritage.
- Deva: A true angel, a deva is a winged champion of their deity. Created specifically for battle, a deva is a holy avenger, wielding radiant weapons and attired in spectral armor. Most notable for their gargantuan wings, a deva is an inspiration to any crusading army as they flap over the battlefield. Agnoment is a deva, once devoted to Gno and now marked by Yog.
