Rimefather Orygg

Orygg (known to his followers as the Rimefather) is a deity who has held a place in the pantheon since long before the Fall.

Thought by the denizens of Kettrik to have saved them from the utter devastation of the Fall thre centuries ago, Orygg has enjoyed a consistency of worshipers that no other deities can boast. Some, however, believe this to be the result of a carefully orchestrated scheme to bring about the end of humanoid civilization as it existed, forcing those who remained to place their faith exclusively in him.

With the resurfacing of Synde and Kostja, these theories of a more sinister Orygg have gained more traction. According to the deific lovers, he cast his own duaghter into a three-century-long slumber in nevermelting ice so that she could not interfere in his scapegoating of Synde at the time of the Fall.

His zealots in Kettrik and the far-flung druidic enclaves spew vitriol at those who would question him, further fueling speculation of an orchestrated attempt to monopolize the faith of humanoidkind.
