Zeak

The Icon of Fear

Zeak, also known as Terror's Opposition, is a tall, bald human with crystals adorning His dark blue gi and lined with silver. There is one crystal that stands out above all the rest and it is a luminescent blue crystalline prism. This crystal is the sentience of courage that aids Zeak with providing advice to those that need it most in times of distress. As this crystal aids Zeak in advising those that need courage, it is Zeak that aids in controlling the fears within those that are debilitated by it. His mount is recognized as being a Monstrous Centipede.

Dogma

Zeak is an enigmatic Icon that is not only the representation of fear for those that choose to spread it, but is also the representation of courage that can overcome those fears. Zeak holds in His dominion what would typically be tied with deities of survival: Fight or Flight. Zeak's portfolio directly dictates one's instincts in situations where death is a line that could be crossed at any point.

Gaining Favor or Redemption

To gain favor with Zeak, one must be able to confront their fears. It is not necessary to conquer them, but to confront them is a surefire way to gain Zeak's favor. However, to falter in this and avoid ever dealing with your fears is what would drive one further away from Zeak's graces. Redemption would be sought through not only confronting your fear, but confronting and overcoming the worst incarnation of it.

Interactions with the world

Zeak has a multitude of layered interactions with Omen. Not only does he provide to humans the courage needed to face their fears, but he also provides a reason for them to be fearful. Thoughts, monsters, concepts, etc are all influenced by Zeak and how humans perceive them. This is to aid in humans adapting against their fears and becoming stronger. Many psionics, illusionists, and soldiers worship Zeak, but it is very common for Zeak to be worshipped by children.
