Ven
The Icon of Assassins
Ven, also known as the Compliant Vassal, is a shorter human with gray robes that adorn a small, lean body. His most distinguishing feature is His mask. An oval piece of broken porcelain that rests enerringly on His face. This mask has no features, no eyeholes, no breathing apparatus, nothing. Those that have met Ven are those that are not human, as humans cannot perceive Him. His mount is recognized as being a Shadow-Infused Monstrous Spider.
Dogma
Ven is a hateful Icon, but His seething hatred is silent and calculating. His ideals tend to lean towards observing those around Him. Those that could be a threat in the future. Observing and understanding threats is what Ven is best at. Though, considering His penchant for eliminating targets in violent ways, Ven is also known for His lack of discretion. This isn't to say He is an unprofessional assassin, it is moreso that He is efficient and mindful of where He performs His kills.
Gaining Favor or Redemption
Gaining favor with Ven is done through one act: Assassinations. To fail an assassination is to lose favor with Ven. And to defeat an assassin of Ven is to gain redemption in His eyes as they have failed Him.
Interactions with the world
Ven's interactions with Omen are incredibly rare. His only interactions tend to be the innate instincts of distrust towards those that can be deemed as a threat. Rumors have it that some of Ven's most adept worshippers are renowned for their instincts and are able to discern friend or foe from just a handshake. Though, many of His priests would be inclined to say otherwise. This is due to the notion that a "truly proficient assassin would never get that close to their target to touch them with anything BUT a blade." This is typically stated by His worshippers, whom of which are a part of many professions, but His priests are truly dangerous as they are the most adept assassins and tend to be the ones that provide contracts to their "flock."
