Stoorworm

The Great Dragon of Captivity

The Imprisoned Warden of the Choking Tomb, the third layer of Totripjah Uoinota, resides deep within the heart of the layer, in the Halls of Kalazzad. Stoorworm has cursed the Choking Tomb to perpetually drain the life out of those that would trespass in His tomb. If one’s body were to be completely drained of their bodily constitution, their spirit will rise as a corrupted watchman as a soul tether chains them to their now anchor of a body. His mount is recognized to be a Green Drake.

Dogma

Stoorworm is a wise warden that refuses to leave the hallowed halls for which He dwells. Stoorworm resides deep within the Halls of Kalazzad as He slumbers. His rest remains undisturbed, but many balahran petitioners are aware of the consequences of waking the Imprisoned Warden. Stoorworm’s destruction of the layer will start with the intensity of the miasma lingering in the Choking Tombs to amplify. Then, bellowing roar of the Imprisoned Warden will resonate and collapse the layer. Stoorworm’s anger and despair are ever present.

Gaining Favor or Redemption

Worshippers of Stoorworm aim to utilize His ideals for the betterment of balahran society. Because of this, the balahran peoples have vowed to honor the dead. However, the Imprisoned Warden’s favor is gained through more than just entombing the dead, as it is gained through pacts in multiple forms. Redemption for the Thirteen is only for those that are Chosen, and the Chosen must perform acts that are abhorrent to that Great Dragon. For Stoorworm, this act is observation. When one’s eyes wander, they can lead to peering into something more dangerous than what they are prepared for.

Interactions with the World

Stoorworm influences the actions of His worshippers through temptation, as is this is the typical corruptive action that all of the Thirteen use on their worshippers. Stoorworm's temptation upon His worshippers is the desire to swear one’s self to another. This started as the desire to claim ownership over another’s life, but it developed into keeping promises and honoring one’s promises by any means. And thus, Stoorworm benefits from their word.
