Sif
The Icon of Spellcasters
Sif, also known as the Spellstudent, is an average height human with short walnut hair wearing a well maintained uniform robes. Sif is often called into meetings with the other Icons as an aid in matters involving whether spellcasters can bend the rules of magic to their whims. Thus, Sif acts as an adjudicator for spells and spellcasting of all sorts. His mount is recognized as being an Air Harvester, in the form of a Light Warhorse.
Dogma
Sif is an introverted Icon that is usually drawn in by subjects of magical nature. These subjects are typically of the intelligent or of a relaxed demeanor. Sif cares purely for the study and application of all magics, but adjudicates the practices of these magics across many spellcasters. He does promote creative uses of magic, and even enjoys experimenting with the fringes of magical theory in hopes of providing a better understanding for His faithful.
Gaining Favor or Redemption
Gaining favor with Sif is relatively simple: casting spells and learning magic. Losing favor can be difficult, but not truly impossible. Sif’s favor can be lost if one were to refuse to cast spells. This is often a personal choice that the transgressor has done for exclusive reasons. And as such, redemption can be found through accepting one’s magical shortcomings and persevering through them.
Interactions with the world
Sif is the influx of mana within all humans. This influx pulses like the life force of all beings, but His influence extends further. The inspiration for spells, the willingness to learn, and even the manipulation of one’s own mana network can be considered Sif’s domain. Many of Sif’s worshippers are mentors of magic, teachers, sages, and even priests.
