Roywynn Folkor
The Founder of the Ideals of Vengeance and Scrutiny
Roywynn never held Herself as one of nobility and considered themselves as one of the common folk. Her position as a noble’s daughter had led to Her general distrust of not only Her parents, but the other gnome holds that resided across Omedai. Coupled with this, Roywynn also held the firm belief that the Founders were not who they said they were. That Her very existence is to be the foil to the Founders. After Her many travels, and Her dealings with other deities, Roywynn had staked Her claim as the Founder of the Ideals of Vengeance and Scrutiny. Her mount is recognized as being a Wolf.
Dogma
Roywynn is a scrupulous Founder that is charitable by nature, but vengeful by trade. She was humble in Her everyday dress of worn and used clothing, but always wielded a piece of Her nobility; a diamond rapier. She sought to help the poor and downtrodden in any way possible. Even if it meant “vacating” corruption from their homes for a roof to be used by one that would appreciate it. She stalked through the shadows to watch and listen, but never spoke until it was truly necessary.
Gaining Favor or Redemption
Gaining favor with Roywynn can be achieved through charity or swift, decisive action. As She is the Founder of Vengeance and Scrutiny, even questioning the actions of the Founders is worthy of Her favor. But failure to uphold these ideals can lead to losing favor with Roywynn. Redemption is found through re-establishing one's connection with Roywynn through questioning the dogmas of the Founders in hopes of gaining a better perspective on the cruelties of life.
Interactions with the World
Before Roywynn ventured from Sarofarn onto Omedei's shores, Omedei was wrought with unjust actions against the gnomish people and the naivete of these actions being as harsh as they were. Roywynn desired to rectify this issue through taking action Herself against the transgressors. This, however, was accomplished through the diligent training of those less fortunate amongst the gnomish people to seek aid from the other races. This resulted in the first gnomish war; Galafran’s Last Cascade. Galafran’s Last Cascade was a war amongst the gnomish people and their holds that eventually led to the bold nature the gnomes are known for to this day. Initially, the gnomes acted as fodder for some of the stronger and more influential amongst their race, but it appeared that many of the gnomes that had evaded notice were capable of culling the upper ranks of the elite of their standing. When discord was sown, so was the seeds of deceit and treachery. This was all according to Roywynn’s grand plan to teach Her people of how vengeance and scrutiny can not only rule, by topple nations. Galafran, the wealthiest noble in gnome history, was a renowned duelist. When he was greeted by Roywynn and promptly executed, it was believed that a coup had taken place against him.
