Richard Emerson
The Icon of Artifice
Richard Emerson, also known as the Bronze Innovator, is a barrelchested human with a light tan complexion. Richard is typically depicted wearing a breastplate on top of a thick blue gambison. One of the most impressive aspects that some notice involving Richard is His shield, which as a tower shield wouldn't be too impressive on its own. What makes it remarkable is the zombie nailed to the front of the shield. This is a testament to Richard's secondary profession of being a devout paladin and what allows Him to lay claim to being one of the most creative and innovative artificers in Omen history. His mount is recognized as being a Clockwork Steed.
Dogma
Richard is a very enigmatic Icon. This is partly due to His divine fervor and His open desire to invent ways to solve problems on-the-fly. What makes Richard so different from most inventors is that He is willing to bet His life on the success of the items He creates. Richard's primary belief is that there has yet to be a problem that can't be solved, it is just that the solution may not be yours to make.
Gaining Favor or Redemption
Richard looks favorably upon those that are innovative, or at least try. Even an attempt is enough to gain Richard's respect. However, to abandon such innovations is a disappointing sight to Him. However, to stop innovation in its tracks is what will draw Richard's ire. The act of redemption is something that must be done in Richard's name. Typically these are done through aiding a Priest of Richard Emerson in their own inventions.
Interactions with the world
Richard Emerson has more inspirational interactions with the humans of Omen. Many of these humans receive insight on new ways to implement attachments, changes, tools, and even new uses out of equipment. There have been instances where it is believed that in times of industrial stagnation, Richard Emerson has sent visions to His priests in hopes they can comprehend His designs and recreate them for the benefit of Omen. Many of His worshippers are artificers, paladins, and craftsfolk.
