Ginnie Highgate

The Icon of Motherhood

Ginnie, also known as the Mindful Caregiver, is a taller than average red-headed woman with a pale complexion and a shapely physique. Those that have communed with Ginnie have noticed that a lingering scent of strawberries permeates around them for a short period of time. Ginnie, unlike most Icons, actively seeks to aid those that have no mother. Or more often than not, ones that have found themselves to be alone and in need of companionship. Her mount is recognized as being an Ethereal Chaser.

Dogma

Ginnie is a very flirtatious and overprotective Icon. Ginnie actively tries to uplift those that have lost their families as She did before ascending. Those that are soon-to-be mothers, adoptive mothers, or even those that wish they had a mother or parent to aid them are always welcome under Ginnie's care. However, Ginnie does have roles and aspects that define Her beyond motherhood as She is understood to be the Icon of Foods as well, but without it being a title of Hers.

Gaining Favor or Redemption

Gaining favor with Ginnie is simple as one must be a supportive caregiver to those around them. However, losing favor is unfortunately more prevalent in Human culture as one can lose favor through merely putting their children and those they care for in danger. One that is most common is abandonment. The only form of redemption in Ginnie's eyes is to find the means of overcoming the trepidations of taking care of others and embracing it without coersion.

Interactions with the world

Ginnie's interactions with Omen are ones that have led many to believe that She can violate the conducts of deities to aid humans. This, however, isn't uncommon for many to think, but there is tell of stories that after someone has received a small kindness that the smell of strawberries lingers for just a few seconds. Ginnie seeks to aid humans as best as She is able, and as long as She keeps humans guessing if what happened to them was caused by Her, then she violates no tenets of deities. Many of Her worshippers are mothers, caregivers, and those without homes or families.
