Garnet

The Destructive Core

Garnet is a sharp gemstone of darkened, bloody hues. Many of Her manifestations appear as blood itself and have oftentimes fueled Her worshippers. However, Her anger is manifested through the blood of the transgressor going cold or even boiling to near debilitating effect. Garnet's pantheon is that of destruction and the control of life and death within it. Her Champions are Reek and Bellrine. Her mount is recognized as being a Crystalline Dire Bear.

Dogma

Garnet is a retributive Core with a temperamental side. However, like many Dungeon Cores, Her larking behavior is prominent as Dungeon Cores tend to lack empathy towards the concept of life and death. Garnet understands that entropy and baseless destruction are common aspects of life and should be embraced. Only the strongest of Garnet worshippers can control these outcomes, or at least have a semblance of predicting the chaos that would ensue.

Gaining Favor or Redemption

Garnet's favor is gained through destruction. However, this destruction must have an initial purpose. To attempt to control that which is uncontrollable and fight against the impossibilities of existence are all aspects of Garnet's portfolio. Repurposing the remains of what was destroyed can also gain one favor. To warn against the eventual destruction of one's surroundings can cause the loss of favor, and redemption is found through shattering one's own perceptions of life and death. To shatter one's own soul.

Interactions with the world

Garnet's interactions with the Great Core have influenced how Her worshippers uphold themselves. Embracing the indifferent wrath of life and aiding others in accepting these ideals are pivotal for most Garnet worshippers. However, Garnet has bestowed upon Her worshippers something that only Humans had access to: the capability of worshipping the entirety of a pantheon. Specifically, Her pantheon.
