Elves have shown a distinct immunity to magical sleep spells and other stimuli. This is probably due to their mental training and trances.
Elves are capable of seeing twice as far as a human in starlight, moonlight, torchlight, and similar conditions of poor illumination. Unlike dwarves, they can still see colors and details with this keen eyesight.
Elves have access to training and exposure with longswords, rapiers, longbows, shortbows, and firearms. In doing so, it isn’t hard for an elf to learn how to use these by the time they become adventurers.
Elves are so observant of their surroundings that if they pass by a secret passage, they have a chance of stumbling upon that passage. It really depends on whether or not they are willing to undergo that venture into the unknown.

Desert Elves are not as alike as most would believe. They are very hardy and tough people, and are naturally resistant to the heat of the desert. This would imply that instead of being physically weaker, they are actually the opposite. Even though these elves appear to lack the social tact to be approachable, they barely speak to anyone anyway.
