Dark Elf

Dark Elves, also known as Duredhel (Singular) or Duredhil (Plural), are a more notable kind of elf. Commonly called “Drow,” they have darker skin and silver hair. They come from a matriarchal society, and females of the race have a natural disdain towards any male. This ethnicity of elves also tends to act nocturnally, and are even found living in underground societies more commonly than their other counterparts.

  • Elves are capable of discovering nearby secret passages.
  • Elves are so observant of their surroundings that if they pass by a secret passage, they have a chance of stumbling upon that passage. It really depends on whether or not they are willing to undergo that venture into the unknown.

  • Dark Elves are able to speak, read and write Undercommon as well as the usual Common Tongue and Elvish. Additionaly, dark elves are able to choose between the following languages: Abyssal, Aquan, Draconic, Drow Sign Language, Gnome, Goblin, and Kuo-Toan.
  • Elves are capable of integrating themselves amongst different people, and thus able to learn different languages.

Additionally, Dark Elves have the following traits:

  • Dark Elves have a +2 to Dexterity, and a -2 to Wisdom.
  • Dark Elves, or drow, are as agile as ever. This means that drow have the same dextrous nature as most elves, however they suffer in decision-making due to their brash behavior. Being exposed to the constant changes of the sea, and the dangers of their hideouts in caves, this makes drow hardier than the typical elf.
