Chimalli
Chimalli is a couatl that acted as the familiar to Lamina Snow, the Great Dragon of Knowledge. He acted as the sole protector of Her during His time on Xilunwa and His duties extended to being a guardian of knowledge. However, after the schism that took hold of Xilunwa and the Thirteen ravaged the world, Chimalli had found it necessary to send Himself as a distraction to the Thirteen to afford the Alliance of Scales time to mentor the balahran tribes. He is also part of the Nature Pantheon, as The Embodiment of Wind. His mount is recognized as being a Lesser Couatl.
Dogma
Chimalli is a mirthful Dragon. This mirth is believed to come from naivete and the guiding hand of Lamina. His loyalty to Her was to a fault and He is blissfully unaware of the evils that cannot be undone. Because of this, Chimalli sees the good in everything, and this is what forces Him to always be protective of others. Every creature, to Chimalli, is worth protecting.
Gaining Favor or Redemption
Balahran worshippers of the Alliance of Scales do not have to seek redemption from them as their faith is not gifted, but taken. Chimalli’s favor is gained through guardianship and providing comfort. If one were to feel safe within the presence of a Chimalli worshipper, then that worshipper has Chimalli’s limitless thanks.
Interactions with the World
Chimalli influences the actions of His worshippers through guidance. Chimalli’s guidance upon His worshippers is to ensure that Xilunwa is safe. This started as protecting one’s tribe from outside forces, but it developed into the active assistance in each civilizations’ government in hopes of making Xilunwa more unified. And thus, Chimalli provides from their cooperation.
