Amus
The Icon of Diplomacy
Amus, also known as the Bridge Warden, is a grizzled, middle-aged human sailor with worldly connections through His teleportation magics. He is often depicted wearing old leathers and hides held loosely together with belts and cords. His most defining characteristics are what truly define Him as He is a very amenable individual with a willingness to find common ground on almost any issue. His mount is recognized as being a Selkie.
Dogma
Amus comes off as a very tired and miserable older man. This is mainly due to His incessant need to resolve whatever situation might affect Him. Amus does not try to resolve issues because it is the right thing to do, or because peace is something He feels strongly about. It is purely out of selfish desire to have some peace and quiet that He performs diplomatic acts.
Gaining Favor or Redemption
Gaining favor with Amus is done through bringing peace between two or more parties. However, failure to do so is not a means of loss of favor. Losing favor with Amus is to involve yourself when it would not affect you. Redemption is finding a way out of that responsibility and for the ends to benefit you.
Interactions with the world
Amus's interactions with Omen are of pity to those that suffer from the decisions of others. He provides insight as a form of counsel to those that may find themselves in an unwinnable situation. Many of Amus's worshippers tend to be diplomats and merchants, but there are children that worship Him in hopes of getting away with pranks and wrongdoings.
