Dúnedain

Residing within the forests of Jasper*, the Dúnedain are a predominantly human subculture/religious sect inspired by the writing of the ancient Earth author J.R.R. Tolkien. Though beginning as a fan group based around the rediscovery of Tolkien's writings; the organization soon came to regard to Tolkien's works, the Silmarillion and the Lord of the Rings trilogy in particular, as historical fact and religious canon. In the present, the Dúnedain are famous for their woodcraft, mysticism, and coexistence with nature. Some of the foremost mystics come from the Dúnedain and they are rumored to have strong connections to some hexer schools. * - the second moon of Angel
