Where Does Our Blood Flow?
The Death of a Nation
from its relocated home,
the majority of Seclora.
These tyrants sit on fake thrones,
and pontificate their roles,
to create a subconscious horror.
City figureheads all swing,
dangling by their puppet strings,
to send the nation's blood before her.
It is offered up en-masse
by two arterial tracks
to be sold by Winham's exporters.
Follow Slaveresmåtei
or Tjenerenssjøvei
and you will be in the same quarter.
Shhh! Heads down! Do as you're told!
Else be fined, scarred, killed, or sold
for disrupting the civic order.
A lament targeting the Barnema Trade Company with the author's perception on "the true way of the world":
1. The Barnema Trade Company controls the continent of Seclora.
2. The company's power is illegitimate and it brainwashes the population into believing that nothing is wrong.
3. Leaders of each city-state are not the true authorities of their territory. Worst still, they are complicit in the company's schemes.
4. The great east-west tradeways of the continent (Slaveresmåtei and Tjenerenssjøvei) only to the benefit of one city, Winham.
5. The people cannot oppose this system due to the threat of severe punishment (which only perpetuate the system's longevity).
Unironically, since the author is unknown, it is often purported that they were enslaved and/or killed for Civil Disobedience.
