Leone Auch⁽ⁱ⁾ (They/Them), captain of Le Chien Salé, serves the Barnema Trade Company by buying slaves at Dverghjem, transporting them along Tjenerenssjøvei, and selling them at Helsoynes.

They make decent coin via the slave trade but a relatively meager profit ferrying food and textiles on their return trip.

To bolster their income, Leone and their crew smuggle weapons and drugs, and may have forged the occasional ledger to complicate the lives of specific individuals⁽ⁱ⁾.

Most of the time Leone manages to keep their crew under control but fights do breakout from time-to-time (most often when playing dice or cards, or splitting the ill-gotten profits between the crew). Although Leone's crew doesn't know it, they have been skimming the cream off the top of their subversive trade - both by not disclosing deals involving the most profitable goods or through unspoken agreements of a few extra coins in the purse in exchange for a "lower negotiated price".
