Pot spider

from the kindgom hearts series.

A curious mimic heartless that hides in large urns, only to counter when struck by greedy adventurers. They also have an irritating habit of cobbling together into a threatening centipede.

despite being called 'spiders', they only have 4 limbs.

mostly in urban enrironments, particularly desert towns/ruind.

mostly ordinary, but have the improved sight to see perfectly in sandstorms.

they seem to be symbiotic to one another, with enough of them combining into a larger monster.

abilities: spider climb (can climb on surfaces without suffering a movement penalty, and can stand on walls and ceilings. mimic: disguised as an urn (advantage on stealth rolls until attacked) combination: if 4 or more combine, it becomes a pot centipede.
