BI is a popular and successful Shipyard when it comes to cheap, or "inexpensive", Starships, usually producing Cargo Ships and Haulers for Civilian & Commercial clients. They are not known for their advanced technological improvements but rather their quality. They are well made and can serve you a good while, given that they are reasonably maintained. Most Pirate and bandit fleets are populated with BI Starships for this reason as well; relatively cheap and reasonably well made.

Majorico Girgenti

Majorico Girgenti is a luxury Starship manufacturer, their design is slip, slick, sleek, and exotic, they stand out in Drydocks. Their ships are extremely expensive but not for their quality but rather their ability. If you buy a Majorico Girgenti, you buy the name and that comes with all the latest high-tech bells and whistles. Fully integrated AI, real-time long-range communication decks, auto-call, and auto-landing are all just some of the basic features. They only make high-end civilian starships and are favored by criminal higher-ups and government officials.

Kumo

Kumo are the shipyard who make ships for the everyman, higher quality stuff than the Boston Ind. ships but a far cry from a Majorico Girgenti ship.
