House of the Sovereign Gods
The Sovereign Gods are a clan of celestials who, unlike others, did not swear loyalty to the Radiance or the Darkness, instead only taking faith in themselves and worshiping Yggdrasil, The Worlds Tree. They did not fear Yibbithal as the Bright or Blighted Gods did and saw it as a natural progression of all things.
History
Founding of the House
The Sovereign Gods were founded a very long time ago before the 1st Universe was even made. God, the Will of Worlds was felled, leaving the Throne of Yggdrasil unprotected. Before she passed, God imprinted her power into three beings of her own flesh and idea, her three sons; Godrick, Godwyn, and Godfrey.

The brothers 3 were the Sons of God and charged with guarding their Mother's Seat of Power, the Throne of Yggdrasil. During a time, both Rādius and Nocji both attempted to wave the brothers to their side in an attempt to claim the Throne for themselves. The brothers defended their post against both Light and Dark, declaring themselves; Godrick the Blighted, Godfrey the Golden, and Godwyn the All-Knowing, Lords of Timber.

The brothers did not only repel enemy forces but declared their Realm, Essadale, was open to all celestials who would reuse allegiance to the Radiance or Darkness, hence the name, Sovereign Gods.
The Kingdom of Free People
During The End of Reason ≜, Essadale opened it's borders to a variety of non-Mage mortals in an attempt to shield them from the issuing madness with the Lords of Timber's immense power. Secluded in this Realm, Godwyn shared his eons-old knowledge of Majiks and Arcane, fostering a new generation of Mages who had both Understanding and Resolve. Godrick, the master of all Sword Logics, made sure these new Knights were well versed in the ways of warfare as well, turning wizards into Mage Knights on equal footing with the Knights of old Legends. Godfrey gifted these new Mages the Elder Futhark, a series of runic symbols which tapped directly into the power of Yggdrasil.

This new class of Mages were dubbed the Knights of Yggdrasil and were among the most powerful Mages to ever be, holding enough power and skill to serve the Sovereign Gods as their Guard and allies.
