The magical manifestation of all the living souls within the world, usually found within every living being, Soul is difficult to harness, yet extremely powerful.

Manifestation

Soul will usually manifest as a wispy, almost clear pale white-blue smoke, the pure essence of ones soul. In many cases however, Soul may be tainted when pulled from the body, in most vile people and horrifically evil villains, the soul will remain as before however will be tainted with dark red and black spots that look and feel more dense than the rest of the soul, with extremely tragic cases of the most evil having their souls ripped out and crystalizing on the spot due to how tainted they have become, resulting in a powerful, yet corrupting Soulshard to immediately form.

Soul is studied and common enough however that it can be manipulated by those powerful enough, usually retaining its white-blue color though not being seen as a fog. Those known as Soul Wardens or Soul Forgers can materialize Soul in runic inscriptions, whether their own or someone elses, allowing a user of a weapon or armor to imbue power from deep within themselves, within their very soul, into their strikes and defense. Many learn this craft on their own, to imbue their own soul into their most prized equipment, but others take it in a more twisted way, imbuing the souls of others into their equipment.

Localization

Soul resides within all the living, no matter how small, from the largest giant to the smallest bug, a soul can be found within everything.
