Ichor

The primordial blood of all

The manifestation of blood and flesh, the most primordial form something living can take, and the sister element to Soul.

Manifestation

Ichor is the most varying in its manifestation, though in its most primal form it appears as a dense, sickly yellow liquid with the consistency of coagulated blood, but most do not choose to manifest Ichor in this way, and see its primordial form as nothing more than a building block.

The most common manipulation of Ichor is through ones blood, Hemomancy, and all the resulting offshoots of it such as vampirism. Hemomancy is just the direct manipulation of the blood within someone, whether their own or anothers, and can easily be used to create makeshift bloody weapons, drain someone of their blood, and a variety of other things. Alongside blood, Ichor being as flexible as it is also is usually manipulated through the flesh, with spells occasionally stretching limbs, forming new limbs, or creating limbs elsewhere that are not on a body. Because of this, Clerics and Healers alongside taking Pacts and Shade, will usually learn Ichor as well to expand upon their healing prowess.

Ichor does however have another use, within most created abberations such as Fleshwarp or Fleshforged, Ichor, along with Aether and Soul is used to create pure life, different from that of naturalborn life like Humans, Elves, Dwarves or other species, Fleshwarp and Fleshforged are created using those three elements, sometimes more, granting them heightened and innate magical abilities.

Localization

Ichor, like Soul, is once more found within every living being, though to a much more potent degree than that of Soul, as Ichor is usually attributed to being the building blocks of life, where Soul is the actual living and free will part of the pair.
