Aberrant Jerky
A food discovered when adventurers were sick of the sheer amount of strange aberrations within the world, and one experimented with how they may taste.
History
The food was first made in the year 1677, though can easily be traced back to fanatic cannibal cults that worshipped aberrations and feasted upon their flesh, the main difference is it was prepared like an actual dish in 1677 by a bard named Varin when he got tired of hunting the countless aberrations plaguing the Fractured Isles and wanted to see if some could be cooked.
He tried with most of them, but a lot had inedible parts and were just rough to eat in general, until he tried with the softer fleshy aberrations, being able to create a jerky out of them.

Significance
Aberrant Jerky, despite being a quick and easy way to make a snack, is important for the purpose that adventurers and travelers, should they take up certain missions, can now also provide back to the city they're working for and provide a quick aberration for them. In addition to this, the jerky has become a staple in many, many nations, as street vendors sell it to all, traveler and local alike.

Rarity
Aberrant Jerky, over the years, has grown increasingly more common and started getting picked up by more nations. The food itself is incredibly easy to create if one knows how to and plentiful, as it can be made from any of the more human flesh-like aberrations, letting most adventurers hunts not go to waste.
Initially scorned by the public, not wanting to eat the horrid monsters they hunt, it picked up traction later as many realized it was edible, tasted good, and made use of the bodies instead of letting them rot and fester in the woods.

Raw materials & Components
All that is needed to make the jerky is a meat drying rack, a fire, and a freshly killed aberration, as it has been observed they rot faster than most other animals.
