Knights of Guidance Rankings

The Rankings of The Knights of Guidance are, from highest to lowest:

• ArchKnight - Knights that are appointed to the Consul of Elders.
• High Knight - Knights that have excelled in combat and peace making efforts. Typically members of temple Consuls.
• Knight - Makes up most of The Knights of Guidance members.
• Apprentice Knight - Have had formal combat and magic training, but still need to continue training and learn The Knights of Guidance methods.
• Neophyte - Usually children, members of The Knights of Guidance that are new to fighting or magic.

Qualifications

• ArchKnight - Must have spent at least five years on the Consul of a Temple, and must be recommended by a member of the Consul of Elders.
• High Knight - Must have at least ten years experience as a full member of The Knights of Guidance, Apprentice Knight or higher. Also, must have shown they have the wisdom and knowledge to resolve conflicts without violence.
• Knight - Must have spent at least five years as an Apprentice Knight under the guidance of a Knight, or higher ranking Knight of Guidance.
• Apprentice Knight - Has spent at least two years in training, whether as a Neophyte or elsewhere. If training was not with The Knights of Guidance, they must have a Knight recommend them. Both paths require passing a test.
• Neophyte - Must be willing to follow Olros, God of Wisdom, and have a member of The Knights of Guidance recommend the person for training.

Duties

• ArchKnight - Responsible for the management of The Knights of Guidance as a whole. As members of the Consul of Elders, they decide if The Knights of Guidance should get involved in conflicts, and wars.
• High Knight - As a member of a temple Consul, High Knights are responsible for the general management of the temple, as well as overseeing the training of Neophytes. They also assign missions to the other Knights or High Knights. Mission can come from requests from the local people or from the Consul of Elders.
• Knight - Responsible for training Apprentice Knights. Knights are assigned Apprentices by Consuls of Temples. Also, are giving missions to complete.
• Apprentice Knight - Continue their training under the guidance of a Knight. Accompany their master on missions.
• Neophyte - Following the training of The Knights of Guidance.
